Jean Daddy - "Let's Ride Boys!"

Toronto’s rock n’ roll enigma Jean Daddy have released a brand new record. They are one of the more unique bands in the area right now with their most recent release prior to this record being a comic book. They are known for their charisma on stage and these fellas can really bring it. As Jean Daddy says they “put the rock in raucous.” Very accurate statement with their dirty garage guitars, driving rhythms and frantic vocals. Their release party goes down Friday November 24 at the Baby G along with Vypers and BBQ Pope. Let’s Ride Boys! – Kris Gies

ZEBEDEE take their berserk garage rock to Pianos on 11/25

ZEBEDEE, the project of Australian transplant Zebedee Row, serves up crunchy, saxed-up garage rock that seems to dangerously flirt with the edge of madness. Their songs are rollicking romps through 70s-era rock 'n' roll, without ever feeling canned or over baked. Check out the band at Pianos 11/25 and stream them below.-Olivia Sisinni

Stuyedeyed drops new single and plays Brooklyn Bazaar 12/17

We've covered Brooklyn-based garage/psych quartet, Stuyedeyed, before on the Deli, but the band keeps churning out new music to keep us excited. Their latest? A track called "Believer" off a recent split with fellow Brooklynites Birds. The song features the band's signature brand of bluesy psych rock, with vocals that seems to edge closer and closer to an inevitable freakout. The accompanying video is a visual treat--a kaleidoscopic display that manages to be fun instead of tropey, with it's light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek approach. Check out "Believer" streaming below and catch the band live at Brooklyn Bazaar 12/17.-Olivia Sisinni

Life Size Models take a trip down memory lane in fun, fresh 'Homemade EP'

The newest release by the quartet Life Size Models, aptly titled Homemade EP, is an explosion of nostalgic alternative rock. Lead singer Chris Seymour’s energy is intoxicating, as he layers borderline raucous vocals over the fun, fast-paced melodies of tracks like “Get Better” (streaming below) and “State of Mind.” Listening to this EP is akin to being on the brink of an adventure; it’s music for the car ride, for the moment you realize you are about to do something big. There’s something distinctly summery about their jangly, garage band ballads, although they’re worth listening to all-year long. Their next show will be free of charge, at the Caravan Lounge in San Jose starting at 10 pm. - Lilly Milman
