The Safes have released a new single, “Baggage Claim”, from their forthcoming LP, Winning Combination. The album is set to be released on September 7th via Action Weekend & Bickerton Records.

The Safes “It’s True”

The Safes have released a video for the latest single, “It’s True”, from their forthcoming album, Winning Combination, which is out September 7th via Action Weekend & Bickerton Records.

The Safes will be touring the East Coast in September and the Midwest throughout October and November. You can catch them at Beat Kitchen on November 27th. You can also catch them on August 9th at BuckleDown Brewery in Lyons with Bleach Party and Time Thieves.

An Interview with Frankie O'Malley of The Safes

 Last month, The Safes released a 7" Tribute to Julianna Hatfield and great video (below) to accompany the release. We recently had the opportunity to ask Frankie O'Malley of The Safes a few questions about that project, the band's longevity, and more.

The Safes Pay Tribute to Juliana Hatfield

The Safes have released a tribute single to Juliana Hatfield via American Laundromat Records. The single’s A-side is “Universal Heartbeat” with a B-side of “I See You”. Below is the video for “Universal Heartbeat”. The record was engirened by Steve Albini and the source material is a perfect match for the mixture of Pop and Rock of The Safes.
