Glad Rags

Glad Rags "All of Them"

Glad Rags have released their debut album called All of Them. This is a powerfully profound collection of songs that explore themes of cancel culture, gendered violence, and how a community heals.

Sonically the group blend disco, soul, funk, and pop into a sound that touches on each decade that is currently seeing a revival, the '70's, '80's, and '90's.

You can catch Glad Rags at the Hideout on November 6th with Living Thing.

Glad Rags “Tick Tock”

Glad Rags has released a video last week for their single “Tick Tock” from their recently released LP, Wonder Under. The video was directed by Eve Rydberg, and truly a lot of fun.

Glad Rags @ Emporium (7/10)

Orchestral Pop collective Glad Rags released their sophomore album, Wonder Under, last week. The album is their follow-up to the band’s 2015 self-titled debut, and contains the single “Alamo” which was released back in May.

You can catch Glad Rags at Emporium Chicago on July 10th with Pool Kids, Blush Scars, and Daymaker. They will be also be performing at Schubas on August 23rd.

Glad Rags "Alamo"

Glad Rags released the first single, “Alamo”, from their forthcoming LP, Wonder Under, today. The orchestral psych pop group has changed a lot since we first wrote about them and the release of their self-title debut album back in 2015. They’ve grown from a trio into the 15 impressive musicians that performed on “Alamo”. They mix elements of jazz, psych rock, and pop.

Wonder Under will be released June 28th.

Glad Rags is the trio of Matt Norris, Ben Karas, and Corey Anderson. Together they create a sound that combines jazz, psych pop, and dream pop. They recently released a video for the lead single, "Jane Goodall", from their forthcoming self-titled LP. The album will be released via Grandpa Bay on November 30th.

You can catch Glad Rags at The Dollhouse on Nov. 20th and at Empty Bottle on Nov. 30th with The Bribes, Bleach Party, and Pony Show.
