Al Scorch

Al Scorch will be releasing his first album for Bloodshot Records, Circle Round the Signs, on May 13th. The label recently released the album's second single "Lost At Sea". You can pre-order the album here.

Scorch will be touring the midwest throughout the month of May, but his next local show will be June 5th at Do Division Street Fest.

Al Scorch

The local label Bloodshot Records announced yesterday that they had signed local singer/songwriter Al Scorch. They also announced that Scorch will be releasing his second full-length studio album and label debut this Spring. Below is Al's appearance on Audiotree from 2013.

You can catch Al Scorch at The Hideout on October 9th, SPACE in Evanston on October 21st, and at Lincoln Hall on Nov. 27th.

Al Scorch "Tired Ghostly Town"

Al Scorch and his backing band, The Country Soul Ensemble, return with Tired Ghostly Town on May 21st. The band includes the talented former member of Elf Power and several Elephant 6 bands, Laura Carter on Clarinet. In the band you will find fiddles, organs, trumpets, accordions, suitcases, and so many more instruments. Al Scorch is known for his big time banjo playing, fast-paced and jubilant anthems, and the stories he tells in song.

Tired Ghostly Town will be released by Plan-It-X South on May 21st. Check out "Working Dream" from the album below.
