Neal Francis @ Schubas (9/21)

Neal Francis’ next album, Changes, is set to be released on September 20th via Karma Chief Records. This latest single from the album, “Changes, Pt. 1”, was released back in May, and further demonstrates that Francis has clearly traveled in time from another decade. This is vintage Leon Russell, Jackson Browne, Dr. John, etc., and it is so enjoyable.

Last week the release event for Changes was announced and it will be held at Scubas on September 21st with Alex Wasily's Very Good Band.

Neal Francis "These Are Days"

Neal Francis has released the first single, “These Are The Days”, from his forthcoming LP which is due out this summer via Karma Chief Records.

Francis is a member of the local funk band The Heard and a duo called Prizes, and is striking out on his as Neal Francis.

This first single, the first of two coming in early 2019, is an R&B influenced rock song in the vein of Dr. John or Leon Russell, and a clear sign of big things to come from Neal Francis in 2019.

You can catch Neal Francis at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn on January 31st and at Concord Music Hall on February 8th opening for Twiddle.
